Welcome to Privateer Days 2010! This year's festival ran from Friday, July 2 to Sunday, July 4. From history to hot dogs, privateers to parades, Privateer Days promised you three days of great fun to be had by young and.....the young at heart. We hope you feel we delivered. It was a great Festival and THANK YOU to all of those who have supported us over the years.

The 2010 Grand Street Parade began at the Hank Snow Country Music Center at 11:00am on Saturday, July 3rd. The route followed Bristol Avenue across the town bridge, turned right on Henry Hensey Drive, then turned left onto Main Street. The parade ended at the post office on the corner of Main and Market streets.

They're Back! A selection of fun-for-all rides will be located at Shipyard Point on Henry Hensey Drive. In addition, there will be a number of giant bouncies from BIG ENTERTAINMENT, so bring the family down and have some fun!
The Historic Encampment will be located at Fort Point Light House Park. The location celebrates not only our town's rich history but also the strongest point of protection for our valued harbour.

The encampment will be open to the public from 6:30am - 8:30 pm on Friday, July 2nd; from 8:00am - 9:00pm on Saturday, July 3rd; and from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Sunday, July 4th.

The Privateer Rum Run will occur Saturday, July 3rd at 3:00pm on the Liverpool Waterfront. Entry fee is $50.00 per team. Please contact the Privateer Days office for more details.

Please note there will be approximately 15 minutes' break between acts, and the tent will close at 2:00am on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Guided Wagon Tours costs are as follows: Adults: $7.00, Students: $4.00, under 5: FREE.

 The Wagon Tours start at the Liverpool Visitor Information Center on the waterfront.

The 3rd Annual Duck Race will take place at Mill Brook between Shipyard Point and Privateer Park on Sunday, July 4th at 4pm. Tickets are $5.00 each, or $25.00 for a six-quack. Your ticket includes your race number and a keepsake rubber duck!

    Tickets are currently available at The Moss Pot Flowers & Gifts on Main Street in Liverpool, and at the Privateer Days Office at 7 Gorham Street.
On Thursday, July 1, the Festival will open with Canada Day fireworks on the Liverpool Waterfront at approximately 10pm.

On Sunday, July 4th, at approximately 10pm, the Liverpool Volunteer Fire Department will set off a spectacular fireworks show. Join us on the Liverpool Waterfront to end the festival with a bang!
The Graveyard Tours take place in the Old Burial Ground Located on the corner of Main and Old Bridge Street.
There will be a Candle lit tour on Thursday July 1st at 9pm
There will be a tour on both Friday July 2nd and Saturday July 3rd at 8pm
Costs:  Adults $10.00
            Children under 12 $6.00
            Family (4) $25.00
