Plans are underway for another exciting Privateer Days 2012. Our festival will begin on June 28th (Youth Night). Events and entertainment will start officially on Friday June 29th and will end with the Grand Canada Day fireworks on Sunday night.

This year will see local entertainment each day (all free), and at night we will be presenting some of the best East Coast music around. Our entertainment lineup will be announced soon. This year we are planning some events to celebrate the War of 1812. Liverpool played an historic role in this war, and we will be telling you how.  The return of our amazing Geocaching event is sure to please. Artisans from across Nova Scotia will once again fill our Artisan tent and Privateer Park. Be sure to keep an eye out for our Duck Race. This year we will be starting early with some very cool Easter ducks, perfect for your Easter basket. Wagon rides, encampment, re-enactment, graveyard tour...we have lots of history to share. Privateer Park will be the place to be this July 1st weekend!!!
